Finance teams need payroll totals in the ledger without CSV juggling or risky manual entry. Schedulaa now ships finalized payroll straight into QuickBooks or Xero as balanced journals, or emits a Zapier event for custom approval and payout workflows.
Two lanes that keep you in control
Native exports: Choose QuickBooks or Xero to post a balanced payroll journal for reconciliation—no Zapier required.
Automation lane: Select Zapier/Other to emit payroll.payment_requested. Use Zapier to drive approvals, journals, CSV/SFTP exports, or payouts via Stripe/Wise/partners.
Schedulaa never moves money; it keeps payroll calculations, slips, and audit trails authoritative, while letting you run payouts in your chosen stack.
What’s included in the payloads
Gross, deductions, and net totals for the pay period (with per-employee detail available in Zapier workflows).
Breakdown fields for tips, bonuses, premiums, reimbursements, garnishments, and retirement/benefits.
Metadata to map employees (IDs/emails), period dates, currency (USD/CAD), and the chosen workflow target.
How to use it today
Finalize payroll → open “Send payroll workflow” → pick QuickBooks/Xero to post accounting journals, or Zapier/Other for automation.
If using Zapier: add a Catch Hook, subscribe to payroll.payment_requested in Event hooks, then build your finance flow (approvals, journals, CSV, payouts).
Workflow statuses come back into Schedulaa (processing/posted/failed) for audit clarity.
